Awakening The Spirit:
A Plant Medicine Retreat
Journey to the sacred lands of Bahia for a powerful plant medicine retreat, where Ayahuasca, Kambo, Rapeh, and Cacao awaken your spirit and Yemanjá’s waters cleanse your soul. 🌿✨🌊
January 27 - February 5, 2026
Imagine yourself… standing on the shores of Bahia, the warm ocean breeze kissing your skin as the rhythmic waves whisper ancient secrets. You have arrived in a sacred space, ready to surrender, to heal, to awaken. Here, the wisdom of the earth and the spirit of Yemanjá call you into a deep, transformative journey—one guided by the sacred medicines of the Amazon and beyond.
You sit in a sacred circle, the scent of tobacco and herbs from the sacred pipe filling the air. The shaman gently blows Rapeh (the finely ground tobacco mix snuff) into your nostrils, and instantly, your mind clears. Your thoughts, once scattered, become still. Rapeh grounds you, aligning your energy and opening a gateway to deep meditation, clarity, and spiritual connection. It is the breath of the forest, bringing you back into your body, into presence, into truth.
You prepare to meet the fire medicine—Kambo. A gentle burn on your skin allows the secretion of the Amazonian frog to enter your bloodstream. Within moments, your heart races, your body heats, and the purge begins. You release toxins, stagnant emotions, fears buried deep within. As the storm passes, a wave of clarity and strength rushes over you. Your vision sharpens, your energy soars. Kambo has cleansed you, not just physically, but energetically—leaving you lighter, stronger, and more resilient.
As night falls, you sit before a cup of dark, mysterious liquid—Ayahuasca. You drink, feeling the warmth travel down, spreading through your body like a sacred embrace. The journey begins slowly, then suddenly, the visions come. Memories, emotions, messages from the unseen realms. The Mother Spirit of the vine takes you deep, showing you what needs healing, guiding you toward truth. Perhaps you cry, perhaps you laugh, perhaps you release what you didn’t even know you carried. But in the end, you emerge transformed—reborn, seeing the world through new eyes, with a heart more open than ever before.
Finally after, kambo and ayahuasca, you gather in ceremony to drink Cacao. Unlike the intensity of Ayahuasca or the fire of Kambo, Cacao is gentle, like a warm embrace from the Earth herself. As the rich, sacred elixir melts on your tongue, your heart expands. A deep, radiant love fills you from within. Music plays, your body moves freely, joyfully. There is no resistance, no doubt—only pure, heart-centered presence. Cacao teaches you that healing does not always come through struggle; sometimes, it comes through love, through softness, through opening yourself to joy.
And then, the ocean calls. You walk to the shore, feeling the pull of Yemanjá, the goddess of the sea. With gratitude in your heart and the wisdom of the medicines coursing through you, you step into the water, allowing her waves to cleanse you one final time. You have shed the old, you have awakened something ancient within. You are free. You are whole. You are home.
If you are a person of color and this resonates with you, will you answer the call? 🌿✨🌊
Preparing the Body, Awakening the Spirit: The Sacred Dieta & Bahia’s Nourishing Feast
Before stepping into the sacred realm of plant medicine, we honor the ancient tradition of the dieta—a period of purification that prepares your body, mind, and spirit to receive the deepest healing and wisdom from the medicines. In the days leading up to our ceremonies, we simplify our diet, removing processed foods, salt, sugar, alcohol, caffeine, dairy, and heavy meats. Instead, we nourish ourselves with light, natural foods—fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and simple plant-based meals. This cleansing process heightens sensitivity, deepens intuition, and clears stagnant energy, creating an open channel for the spirits of the plants to work their magic.
As we walk this path of purification, we also quiet the mind and attune the body. We invite silence, reflection, meditation, and presence, releasing distractions, toxic emotions, and anything that no longer serves us. This is a time of surrender, a time to listen—to ourselves, to the medicine, and to the whispers of nature.
And then, after our journey with Ayahuasca, Kambo, Rapeh, and Cacao, we return to the pleasures of the earth with renewed gratitude—and what better way to celebrate than with the vibrant, soul-nourishing flavors of Bahia? With hearts wide open, we savor the rich, comforting embrace of moqueca, the warmth of freshly made farofa, the sweetness of tropical fruits bursting with life. Every bite is a prayer, a gift, a reminder that we are meant to experience, enjoy, and embody the beauty of this world.
This is more than a cleanse; it is an initiation. A journey of clearing, receiving, and returning—stronger, lighter, and deeply connected to yourself and the world around you. 🌿✨🌊
