The Yemanja Goddess Retreat, exclusively for women of color, is an opportunity to experience Yemanja and celebrate her anniversary. On February 2nd every year Baianos go to the ocean to celebrate and honor her in ceremony and with gifts.
This is your chance to explore the culture and history of Salvador, Brazil’s own little Africa. Over the course of 7 spectacular days, you will connect with the Orixas and learn more about them. You will experience the candomble religion, learn how to make traditional Brazilian drinks and food from Bahia.
All the while diving into your vital feminine life force and female sexuality through daily tantric breathing and meditations, and Rebirthing. The exploration of Salvador, the blackest city in Brazil, will include visiting Afro- Brazilian religious centers, receiving spiritual cleanses, participate in drumming classes by the drummers of Bale Folclorico, Afro-Brazilian dance classes, cacao ritual, rapé meditation ritual, relaxing on beautiful beaches, and much more.

Thank you for visiting our website and for considering our transformative retreat as part of your spiritual experience. It is my honor to create, curate and hold sacred space for you to heal yourself, grow, reconnect to your roots and love yourself more through meditation, silence, dance and journeying. I’ve been leading Sacred Sisters Soul Retreats for women of color since April of 2018. The purpose of our Sacred Sisters Soul Retreats are to provide women who feel broken, incomplete and unworthy of love with a safe and sacred space where she can silence her mind and care for her inner-self without the distractions of family, work, housework, and technology. We create the perfect environment for this work to be done.
As a powerful woman, taking time to connect with your sacred sexuality and awaken the divine feminine is a must to feel whole, complete and empowered. In my journey, I’ve found that we have to respect our bodies, listen to our needs and learn what makes us feel good and safe. That’s exactly what our Retreats are here for. We want to provide like-minded Queens with a safe and comfortable space to meditate, move, dance, heal, relax and breathe at her own flow and pace until she discover the space and pace that is right for her, as an individual light being.
