Delight in African inspired tastes such as Moqueca and Acaraje during the cultural portion and then nourish the body with delicious Vegetarian meals prepared with love.

Each meal is lovingly selected to provide your body with the healthy fuel it craves for you to focus on your inner journey of renewal and growth.

Food has energy and healthy foods can help us to vibrate in our highest frequencies. Eat traditional Baiano foods that will be prepared with spirit and love. Baiano foods use fresh non-processed herbs and ingredients free of harsh chemicals, or pesticides found in the U.S. which will have you leaving feeling lighter and detoxed.

Not only will you get to indulge in the African flavors of Salvador, you will also take a cooking course with the infamous Dona Angelica of Ajeum da Diaspora.  You will learn to cook a traditional Bahian meal and learn to make caipirinhas, Brazil’s traditional drink!

Tantric Healing with Prandhara Prem

    I truly embody this name as I have learned whilst living in Brazil  to go with the flow of love and life. I have made this my mission to assist others in going with the flow.  Opening to love and freedom.

    In 1999, I earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology in the USA, and in 2013 a Post-graduate degree in Transpersonal Therapy in Brazil. Due to my love of learning, I received a Certification as a Shamanic Medicine Woman in 2015, a Certification as a Tantric Therapist and Rebirther in 2016. As I continued with my  zest for growing, I later went on to complete a Certified Relationship and Sexuality Coach course in 2018. I have been on the path as a Holistic Therapist for some time. In addition to Tantra, Coaching, Rebirthing, Shamanism, I also work with many diverse forms of Reiki!

    Prandhara Prem is a certified Reiki Master in Usui Reiki, SSR and Ma’Heo’o Shamanic Reiki.

    In 2015, I completed a Shamanic Medicine Woman training from Xamanizando, in São Paulo, Brazil and in 2016 completed The Deva Nishok Tantric Therapist training course at Centro Metamorfose in Minas Gerais, Brazil.

      In 2018, I became an Ordained Interfaith Minister and received my Doctor of Divinity Degree through Universal Life Church.

In addition, I have studied the NADA system of Ear Acupuncture for stress relief, Iridology, Relaxation Massage, Family Constellation, NLP and Regression.

    Now, I am able to assist a wide range of people in overcoming low self-esteem, depression, sexual dysfunctions, relationship problems, anxiety, and stress through therapy, tantric massage, relaxation massage, dynamic meditations, psychodrama, and shamanic healing.

Why do we do what we do? Who and what told us to do it?

A passion to connect with others led me to pursue my education in the field of Psychology. In 2007, I graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from Tennessee State University and in 2009 I graduated with a Master of Counseling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. Though westernized education has allotted me with the opportunity to reach diverse groups with diverse needs, I sought to incorporate artistic, spiritual and physical principles into my practice.

In 2011,  I became an initiate of ancestral worship derived from Congo. I have been trained and educated about ancient African and indigenous Indian spiritual practices and traditions. The desire to continue my evolutionary process led me to Salvador Bahia Brazil in 2012 where I studied and practiced ancestral (egun) worship, Candomble, and voice and dance therapy. I was also led by shamans to connect with sacred medicines and rituals.

After returning to my hometown in Nashville, TN I continued to study alternatives for western medicine. I am now a certified Reiki Specialist and Master Teacher. In October of 2017, I received my Birth Doula & Childbirth Advocate certification. I also provide Intuitive Readings and Spiritual and Mental Health Advising. Lastly, I teach Afro-Brazilian dance as a holistic medium to promote optimal health and wellness!

The enchanting destination for our retreat portion which will cleanse and heal our souls. Situated in Imbassai, Bahia, Vilangelim has many stunning views and is picturesque! Vilangelim is walking distance from the river and ocean and is optimal for connecting with nature, being in silence and connecting with Yemanja(Orisha of the Ocean) and Oshu, (Orisha of the river).  Here we will focus on wellness, tantric meditation and rituals, dance, movement, breathwork and relaxation. At Vilangelim, we will enjoy quiet time in the zen garden, meetings in the  cozy living room, all the while inhaling the fresh natural air during a stroll to the beach.

Arrive at the Salvador (SSA) Airport  on August 1st, 2019 before 2pm if possible so you can ride in the shuttle with the group and arrive to the Hotel with enough time to get settled in before dinner.

We recommend you depart August 8th, 2019 after breakfast. Shuttle to SSA will be provided around 10am.
