The Sacred Kink:
Finding Spirituality in your Sexuality
July 17-19, 2020
How does sexuality relate to spirituality?
What does kinky really mean anyway?
Do you ever have kinky fantasies but aren’t sure how to make them a reality?
Do you want a safe and nonjudgmental space to have all your questions answered?
Have you ever wondered what goes on in the world of Kink?
Have you thought about it but too scared to try?
How about a chance to explore these realms in confidence and without judgment?
The Sacred Kink: Finding Spirituality in your Kink Retreat is a three-day virtual retreat where we will explore how our more “unconventional” sexual desires can fortify our spiritual practices.
Kink is categorized as anything that is “unusual” or “abnormal” in the realm of sexuality, however, what might be considered kinky is different for absolutely everyone. Whether you get turned on at the thought of getting tied up, want to be dominated, or are into voyeurism or group play — you are definitely not alone. A recent study shows that more than 40% of Americans describe themselves as kinky.
But if you enjoy a nice flogging will Jesus smite you forever? Does it make you less of a sacred goddess if you enjoy a hard smack in the face? Absolutely not! It is our belief that our material and spiritual bodies are inextricably connected and expansive when given the proper intention and practice. With the security of defined boundaries, clear communication, and receptivity to the wisdom of the body, we can flirt with our erotic edges, and reach elevated and altered states of consciousness.
